Our Butterfly Wing Jewelry is made of real butterfly wings collected after the butterflies have expired. After hatching from their chrysallises they will live but a few days to a few weeks. They are then collected where they fall and hand made into sterling silver and acrylic jewelry. This protects the beauty of the wing and keeps the jewelry light in weight.
The color and pattern on one side may be completely different from the other side of each piece of jewelry. Some species are only available in certain sizes and shapes.
Please tell your customers not to get the Butterfly Wing Jewelry wet. The moisture will adversely effect the wing within and turn it brown.
